Rik first came to my attention after playing alongside John Barrowman in Torchwood as Dr Rupesh Patanjali. He is now on our screens as Nikhil Sharma in Emmerdale, one of the most popular soaps in the UK.
He was born in Chesterfield Derbyshire in the UK and is a classically trained graduating from the RSAMD. His theatrical pedigree was proudly established in 2004, after he won a Laurence Olivier Bursary in 2004 in association with the Society of London Theatre.
Rik is a black belt in Tae Kwon-Do and a huge fan of F1 racing
