Ok so we all know the cheeky Jamie as Caius, member of the Volturi in the amazing Twilight Saga: New Moon,
but where is he from and what else has he done?
Jamie born in London UK is an ex-member of the National Youth Music Theatre and lead singer and guitarist in the brilliant band The Darling Buds alongside Jordan Spiers on Bass and Dan Smith on the drums. Check out their MySpace page here for demos and info : http://www.myspace.com/thedarlingbudsmusic
He has also been in films such as;
Anthony in Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber Of Fleet Street
Rocker in Guy Ritchie film RocknRolla and he will also join the Harry Potter cast as Gellert Grindelward in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Parts 1 and 2.
He is at the moment also on UK tv on ITV1 starring alongside Sir Ian McKellen and James Caviezel in The Prisoner, an update to the cult favorite tv series from the 1960s about a government agent who is kidnapped and sent to a remote island known as "the Village". Jamie is playing Sir Ian's son 11 - 12 who has hovered almost wordlessly by his father 2 for the first 2 episodes. Toward the end of episode 3 named Anvil, we get to see why 11-12 was so secretive
WARNING SLIGHT SPOILER AHEAD .............................................................
he's having a love affair with a male secret agent and decides to murder him rather than let his father do him any harm. The scene is unexpected, bloody and powerful.
Jamie said in an interview with MTV about this episode:
"It's a very high intensity scene emotionally and we spent a long period of time at that moment in the story. You have to be incredibly highly strung all day and it's no fun for anyone around you to be just moping about."
Jamie also said the "Prisoner" murder scene "one of the most rewarding scenes I think I've ever done in my life," adding that "the whole show in general has challenged me, not only as an actor but also as a person — it helped me grow."
Im loving this series so far and cannot wait to see rest :-D x
CRIKEY!!
